💜 Today is one of the hardest days we've had as small business owners.
The doors to **Boujee Community Thrift Store** in Fostoria are now closed as we begin preparing for our next chapter.
Since opening in **2024**, this store has been so much more than a business to us. It's where we've built friendships, shared hugs, celebrated victories, cried through challenges, and had the privilege of helping so many people in our community. ***Fostoria is also our home****
To every customer who walked through our doors... every donation you dropped off... every encouraging word... every laugh we shared... and every person who chose to support a small local business instead of a big-box store... it's with the deepest of gratitude that we say......
**Thank you.**
You became more than customers. You became our friends and family.
Leaving Fostoria was never.... ever part of the plan.
Unfortunately, the building we've called home these past 2 1/2 years has reached a point where it can no longer be occupied without extensive repairs. We searched tirelessly for another suitable location here because we truly wanted Boujee to stay in the community that we live in and love. Sadly, we were unable to find a building that would allow us to continue serving Fostoria.
That reality has been heartbreaking.
However, while this chapter is ending, the story of Boujee is far from over. Our mission will continue!
I'm excited—and a little nervous—as we prepare our new shop. My hope is that it will allow us to continue the mission that has always been at the heart of Boujee: providing affordable shopping, serving our community, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome.
So this is not goodbye! Boujee is not closing.
It's simply... **SEE YOU SOON**
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for embracing our dream, believing in Boujee, and allowing us to be part of your lives. We will forever be grateful for the memories we've made together.
