Our home, built by our community. 🏠❤ Garnet Hill’s original office — now our headquarters — is a gambrel-style barn dreamed up by our cofounder Pegge Kirchner and built by her husband, Grant Dowse, and their closest friends in the 1970s.

From the first mill of the timber to the final joinery, every beam was raised with local hearts & hands. Five decades later, this beautiful barn is a reminder that things built with intention are built to last. 🌿 See how it all began.
