Long before online orders and social media, generations of skilled craftsmen came through these doors each day with a shared commitment to quality. More than 130 years later, that same commitment continues as we make our comforters, mattress toppers, pillows, and other wool products right here in the same historic mill.

As we celebrate America's birthday, we're reminded how grateful we are to continue making our products right here in Frankenmuth, Michigan—just as we've done since 1894.

For more than 130 years, generations of dedicated employees have walked through our doors, turning natural wool into bedding made with care, craftsmanship, and pride. Their hard work has helped preserve a tradition that's become increasingly rare: American manufacturing.

Today, we're especially thankful for our incredible team—past and present—and for customers across the country who choose to support products proudly made in the USA. Your support allows us to continue this tradition for generations to come.

Long before comforters, mattress toppers, and pillows take shape, every piece of wool begins here.

This historic carding machine has been the heart of our mill for well over a century. In fact, our original carding machine—built in the 1850s and purchased used in 1894 for just $600—helped launch Frankenmuth Woolen Mill. Today, that same time-tested process continues as our carding machines gently open, clean, and align the wool fibers before they're handcrafted into the bedding we're known for.

While many things have changed over the past 130+ years, our commitment to quality American craftsmanship hasn't.

It's a reminder that sometimes the best way forward is to honor the methods that have stood the test of time.
