It has been a crazy couple of weeks but I did manage to get a couple more Halloween doggie bandanas made! Get them from Owen County Friends of Animals at the Monterey Homecoming Fair on Saturday Oct 3!

We will not be set up at the 50th Anniversary of the Monterey Homecoming Fair this Saturday, October 3rd. You will still need able to get some Earthshine Design handmade goods though! Stop by the Owen County Friends of Animals booth and pick up a doggie bandana! Please help us support our local no-kill shelter and make a dent in their vet bills!

New Achievement unlocked!
Did this take me nearly three hours? Yes!
Did I rip as many stitches as I sewed? Damn right I did!
Is she a little wonky? Of course!
I am stoked to finally make a boxy bag? Hell yes!
Should I have been doing chores instead of this? Blasphemy!!!! 😂

Finally. 🥹 After launching my sewn items four months ago, I have FINALLY sold not one, but TWO pieces! (And no, this doesn’t include the one special order I made.)
Y’all, I was about to give up. No sales. So few reactions on social media.

I understand that many of you may have originally followed this page for tie dye, but the truth is, after a decade, I’m burnt out. Sewing brings me so much joy. I think about it constantly, and I’m so excited to keep creating.

Finally selling a piece—or two!—is the motivation I needed to keep going. 🩷 Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, liked a post, shared my work, or simply stuck around. It means more than you know.

Just dropped off a few pieces and some sewn zipper pouches at the West Lex Peddlers Mall ! Some of the pouches are made from vintage cutter quilts. We are at the end of Aisle 8, booth 301!! ❤️

Decided to switch it up this weekend and sew a few bags instead of doggie bandanas. Molly and Liz are patiently waiting to model the new fabrics I got for bandanas😊
