One thing about me is that I picture my brain as a giant bowl of spaghetti — every noodle is an idea, a plan, or a problem I’m trying to sort through and they're all in big knots that I'm working on unraveling.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we can make it better, easier, more fun to shop, and more worth your time. Instead of sitting here making bogus guesses, I'm doing what I always do and I'm asking you for some help!

We took the weekend off from posting and, shockingly, the world did not end! Sometimes when you run a business (or just exist on the internet) you convince yourself that if you're not constantly checking in you are going to miss something, or everything is going to fall apart at your finger tips- but this weekend reminded me that you gotta step away every now and then and touch some grass!

That said… the break is over and we’re back to business this week because, as always, we have a LOT to overshare with you.

Something you might not know about me is that alongside from Lil Surprises, we run most of the events you see from the DFBA (Downtown Frankfort Business Alliance)! Witchy Night Out, Hot Chocolate and Cookie Crawls, that's all us! We are preparing for tomorrow's LEMONADE CRAWL and we're always looking for feedback or great ideas from the community.

As I start to think about Witchy Night Out (feels so far away but it's going to creep up on me in no time, I know it) I'd love to hear if you've ever attended, what you enjoyed and what you'd like to see more of! It truly takes a village to make these fun, community based events work and we want to make sure this year is the BEST WNO we've ever had!

Both stores open (for now), if the rain takes over or our power goes out we'll post here to let you know! Stay Dry!!
