It was an honor to dress scientist and storyteller once again for the 2026 Gala in New York City, where she received the New Explorers Award.Thank you Elodie and Congratulations! Elodie wore the Seeker gown from the 2015 Palacetor collection. Its fabric was inspired by the Triumphal Arch Embroidery wall hanging, part of the collection. The embroidery was made in India in the mid-17th century for the Portuguese market, depicting triumphal arches erected in Lisbon. It was sponsored by Flemish merchants living in Lisbon and based on an etching of the arches published in Madrid.
The fabric for this dress was woven and embroidered in India.
