I’m excited to share a bittersweet update. 🤍
After much prayer and seeking the Lord’s direction, our family has made the decision to close Fearfully & Wonderfully Stitched (for now) as we prepare for our move to Washington. 🗺️🏔️
What started as a small business became so much more than that. It gave me the opportunity to create meaningful gifts, celebrate life’s sweetest moments with so many of you, and help support my family during a season when God called me to be at home. I am incredibly grateful to every single person who trusted me with your orders, shared my work, encouraged me, and prayed for our family along the way. You have blessed us more than you’ll ever know.
As we step into this next chapter, I’ll be returning to my first calling as a Labor & Delivery nurse. 🩺👩🏼⚕️👩🏼🍼It feels incredibly fitting that the Lord is leading me back to helping welcome new life into the world. While this chapter is ending, I know it’s only because He is opening another. 📖
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Closing this business isn’t easy, but I’ve learned that obedience often requires letting go of something good to make room for what God has prepared next. His plans have always been better than my own, and I have complete confidence that He is faithfully directing our family’s steps.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Once we’re settled, I don’t think my love for creating will ever disappear. I hope to continue offering hand embroidery and crocheted heirlooms on a much smaller scale as a hobby and side business whenever time allows. So this isn’t necessarily goodbye forever—just goodbye to this season. 🧶🪡🧵
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your stories. Thank you for supporting a dream, praying for our family, and reminding me that God provides in every season. 💝✝️
Over the next few days, I will be gathering and posting blank items and other embroidery supplies for sale! If you’re interested in anything — let me know!
Please continue to pray for us as we pack up our home, make this cross-country move, and begin this exciting new adventure. We can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store.🤍🤍🤍
