David stepped forward, trusting in God, and dropped the giant with one stone.

Masculine men do not cower at struggle and trials. Train your body in the gym, eat healthy to sustain your body, spend time in prayer to build your faith in God. Your family should feel safe behind you.

My wife came to me one day and said “Will you “unfriend” that girl on Facebook?” I didn’t ask for a reason nor did I say “she’s an old friend from school.” I opened my phone, pulled up Facebook, and pushed the “unfriend/unfollow” tab. No questions asked. That’s not simp behavior. It’s honoring your wife.

Masculine men love and honor their marriage above all other relationships.

One of the greatest things you can do in service to another is to pray for them. To earnestly go in front of the Creator of the universe and plead for healing, marriage restoration, salvation, etc., is the greatest thing you can do. The one and only God hears the prayers of His church and scripture tells us that “the prayer of a righteous man (we are only righteous because we receive Christ’s righteousness) has great power.”

A masculine man is most powerful when he is on his knees in prayer.

I always say “Men are built in the fire. We must do hard things to become men. Comfort is where masculinity dies.” My son just completed Security Forces tech school in the US Air Force. In the armed services special units receive a beret. It shows that they are set apart as a special unit. I love seeing how this fire has molded my son and how his faith in Jesus has helped mold some of those around him.

Jesus was the most masculine man that ever lived. Masculinity cannot be toxic.

Men are built in struggle and pressure. Just like muscle is built with progressive resistance. Faith is built in spiritual battle. Relationships are strengthened through conflict. When a young male grows up without any difficulties in life he remains a boy.

Do hard things! Masculine men NEED to.
