🍫🧶 Happy National Chocolate Day, friends!

I’ve got my yarn, my crochet hook, and, of course, some chocolate! 😂🍫 A little chocolate while I figure out what to crochet next sounds like a pretty good plan to me!

Hello, friends! 🧵❤️ I need your help!

My order of 20 needlepoint crosses has grown to 25 crosses! 🎉 The last 5 are for kids, and my customer wants me to make them in fun colors.

Here’s where YOU come in! 😍 I can use up to 4 colors for each cross, and I’d love your suggestions!

I was in my bedroom doing something when my daughter called me to come out to the main area. She said, “You may want to bring your phone.” 😂

I came out to THIS! 🤦‍♀️🤣 Of course, how could I get mad at her? Look at that face! 🥰

I gathered up all the yarn.🧶🐶

I guess she decided she wanted to help me crochet… just not quite the way I had planned! 😂❤️

Hello, friends! 🎃👻

Here’s an update on my tendinitis. I’ve rested my thumb for almost two weeks, and thankfully, it’s feeling much better! ❤️

I decided to pick up my crochet hook and some yarn and give it a try. I could still feel a little pain, but it wasn’t nearly as bad. I stopped for a day and a half and then picked it up again.

And look what I made! 🥰🎃👻

A cute little pumpkin/ghost rearview mirror ornament! I had so much fun getting back to crocheting, even if I’m taking it slow.

Teresa Salters began crocheting about 14 years ago after encouragement from her sister, Pattie, who passed away only six short months later from brain cancer. Teresa donates $2 from every item purchased to support brain cancer awareness and research in honor of her sister. “Every handmade item I create is made with love, and each purchase helps me continue her legacy while supporting a cause that is very close to my heart.”

T Salt Creations offers many handmade crochet items but one of the things Teresa loves making most is animals, especially chickens! They are one of her best selling items and it is so fun to see their personalities come to life as they are being crocheted!

Teresa loves The Frederick City Market because not only does it allow her to share her art, it also gives her a chance to connect with customers and fellow vendors in a friendly, supportive environment. You can find T Salt Creations at The Frederick City Market this Sunday, August 9, and on the first Sunday of every month from 9 am - 1 pm at 622 N Market street.

Crochet is calling my name, but I can’t answer just yet. 🧶💔 I’m hoping with some rest and the right treatment, I’ll be able to pick up my crochet hook again next week. Fingers crossed! 🤞❤️
