Another ASMR printing sesh. I created this print because of Christina Koch, the NASA astronaut who has held several records: part of the first all woman spacewalk, longest space flight, and was part of the Artemis II lunar flyby which set the record for human distance from earth, and the only woman to travel beyond low earth orbit and travel around the moon (siting Wiki for all these). “Copy, Moon joy” came from a conversation between Mission Control and the Artemis II when the crew was reporting excitedly about seeing the moon up close for the first time. Mission Control will responded calmly with “copy, moon joy,” as a confirmation they received the wonderful news. Since then, “moon joy” had been used at NASA and beyond in celebration of the successful trip. The print is of Christina looking down at earth enjoying the view. I made a few limited edition prints of the monumental event.
