Join us for a crochet class designed for beginners who have basic crochet skills. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create your very own cozy pocket shawl – perfect for gifting, wearing on chilly evenings, or snuggling up with a good book. Materials needed for class: 8 mm hook and 675 yards of light, chunky weight #5 yarn, similar to Premier Puzzle or Loops & Threads Impressions. Skill level: prior knowledge of beginner crochet skills like chain, single and double crochet. The three classes will be held over a 5-week period, so you will have time to complete your project. You will leave with the confidence to start future projects, and a beautiful handmade pocket shawl you created yourself!
Participants will meet on Tuesdays, March 31, Apr. 14, and Apr. 28 at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Room 193. Registration Fee is $10 for 3 classes.
