🤎 2027 WILL BE A NEW CHAPTER FOR UNBRIDLED 🤎
This is a post I have written in my head a hundred different ways, and if I'm being completely transparent, it's a hard one for me to finally share.
Truthfully, I thought I would wait a little longer to share this. I thought I'd find the “perfect” time and the perfect words. But I've learned there usually isn't a perfect time for the things that matter most — and carrying something quietly can sometimes feel heavier than simply stepping forward in faith and saying it out loud.
So, as we approach ONE YEAR of Unbridled Style on Main Street in Friona, it feels right to share where God is leading us next.
After a lot of prayer, and probably more overthinking than I'd like to admit, I've made the decision that at the end of this year, Unbridled Style will be relocating from our Main Street storefront back to our rural warehouse outside of Friona.
But before anything else, I want you to hear this:
**Unbridled isn't going anywhere.** 🤎
For more than 10 years, this business has grown, changed, stretched me, surprised me, and taken on many different forms. Long before we ever had a storefront, Unbridled was an online business operating from our warehouse — and in many ways, this next chapter feels a little bit like coming home.
I've learned over the years that sometimes following God's plan requires you to walk through a door with complete faith... and sometimes obedience means being willing to pivot when He starts leading you somewhere else.
Opening this storefront was one of those doors.
This year was pivotal for Unbridled, and pivotal for my growth. I will forever be thankful!
We grew. We learned. We met so many incredible people. We became a part of this community in a way we never could have from behind a computer screen. I got to know women who started as customers and became friends. And I got to watch something I had dreamed about for years become real.
I will forever be proud that I got to put an [UNBRIDLED STYLE] sign on a building on Main Street and unlock those doors every morning. Oh how it filled my cup and creative spirit again!
But, I've also learned a lot about what I want my life to look like in this season.
I have little kids who are only going to be little once alongside a business I still love deeply. And I've realized that operating a full-time retail storefront requires a level of time, energy and commitment that I'm simply not willing to continue taking away from the things God is asking me to prioritize right now.
And that's okay.
One of the greatest lessons entrepreneurship has taught me is that pivoting isn't quitting.
Sometimes it's wisdom.
Sometimes it's growth.
And sometimes it's obedience.
So rather than looking at this as Unbridled closing, I hope you'll celebrate with me as Unbridled relocates into its next chapter.
Our online store and app will continue just as they always have. In fact, it's growing! We'll still have new arrivals. I'll still be styling outfits, packing your orders and showing up on your screen probably more than you want me to. 😉
And for my local girls — I'm not disappearing! Our warehouse is just outside of town, and I plan to offer shop hours from time to time so you'll still have opportunities to come out, browse, try things on and shop with me in person. 🤎
And we aren't packing up tomorrow, either.
**We have an entire season left together on Main Street.**
Fall.
Holidays.
New arrivals.
And I intend to soak up every bit of customers walking through the door.
So today isn't a sad announcement.
It's a celebration of what this chapter has been, gratitude for every single person who helped make it possible, and excitement for what God has waiting on the other side of my obedience.
Friona — thank you.
Thank you for welcoming us.
Thank you for shopping with us.
Thank you for telling your friends about us.
Thank you for walking through our doors.
Thank you for allowing this little dream of mine to have a home on Main Street.
This chapter mattered.
It wasn't a detour. It was part of the story.🥹
And I truly believe the best thing I can do now is trust the same God who led me here to lead me into whatever comes next.
Here's to one incredible year on Main Street — and to the next chapter of Unbridled Style. 🤎
