Her mother’s wedding dress was refashioned to become her rehearsal dinner dress. The skirt portion was brought up and the sleeves were taken off. The back bow was given the added lace detail taken from the skirt. Her mother didn’t see it until the rehearsal 🥰💕 DARLING!

The grand kids were coming to visit and I couldn’t come up empty handed. So I made these bags for their toys or blankets. One of them got a little zip wallet for hair-pretties or tooth fairy money. They loved them!! Arthur lovesssss cars and took right to his! Annie started stuffing dollies in hers. It just did my heart good. ❤️

A bag made from the fabric cut from hemmed skirts. 🤗The skirts were handed down from a grandmother to her grand daughter. She will wear them to her new job. They fit her but needed to be hemmed. The linings from the skirts were used as the lining for the bag. A couple pouches for the inside and a loop for hanging keys were added. ❤️Sew Cute!!!

15” high by 11” wide.

I helped a friend with her grandmother’s rocker. It still has the horse hair stuffing. We kept that and reinforced some of the wood. It’s now good for another 100 years. ❤️
