📢 THE ROCKY ROAD LAUNCH POST
FROM FIVE MONTHS A STRAY TO FUREVER HOME: The work is just beginning! 🐾💜

⚠️Today, Dizzy Dog Designs is officially launching THE ROCKY ROAD ANIMAL RESOURCE FUND!
💪Our mission is to eventually build a permanent emergency 🚑medical and supply safety net for local animals (DOGS and CATS) in need. This is deeply personal to me as 5 of my own 6 dogs and cats started out as strays/rescues!

How we got here:
This is something that we have been thinking about for a long time but when this sweet guy “Rocky” showed up, I knew it was the PURfect time.🐈‍⬛
“Rocky’s” incredible, fast-moving Story 🐾

📖The Long Road: Rocky lived as a stray on my property for over 5 months! We finally won his trust a week ago Monday!
👉Wednesday Vet Visit: The wonderful team at Veterinary Medical Hospital got him in for his checkup, shots, de-wormer, and ear mite treatment. We also discovered he is FIV positive (feline HIV). 😭
👉Saturday Plot Twist: Right as he was getting ready to go to his new home, we discovered a nasty bite wound. Because of his FIV, a prompt vet visit was critical.
👉Sunday Forever Home: We stopped at Affordable Veterinary Care Center, in Clinton Twp. for emergency wound care on his way to his forever home! He is officially settled in now living his best life indoors! 🏡🙌🏼🥰
❗The Emergency Cost: His fast-moving emergency care hit over $650 out of pocket so far 😭, not including his upcoming neuter.
💪The Work Doesn't Stop here!!: There are so many more in our community that need our help! 🧡"We can’t save them all but we can change lives for the ones we reach."
📢📢STAY TUNED: In just a little bit, we will be dropping a special pre-order apparel line featuring Rocky's commemorative design to help us clear his vet debt and start the care fund for the next animal in need. Keep your eyes on our page for the official drop! 👕📦👁️👁️

Molly's Wish, an outreach program in Molly's memory that will provide free vaccinations to dogs through scheduled vaccination events.

Molly’s Wish is for every dog to be vaccinated.
We believe no dog should suffer from a preventable disease simply because access to care is out of reach. Through compassion, community support, and education, we will work to remove financial barriers to essential vaccinations so dogs can live healthy, protected, and joyful lives.

Your support helps provide life-saving vaccines to dogs who otherwise might go without. Every gift brings us one step closer to a community where preventable illness no longer threatens the lives of beloved pets.

Thank you for helping keep Molly's memory alive while helping other dogs get their necessary vaccinations!
