I’ve never heard of this book or this author, but Noah & I loved it! I found it at the thrift store last week. It was part of my 50 pound book purchase (yes, 50 pounds!) . I’m in love with both the writing and the illustrations! The dog’s moods were perfectly captured. Have you ever read by ? Now, I’m on a mission to find more of his books. It is older than me! Barely…

Sorry, I don’t do tutorials, and there are lots of really good ones on how to do this out there. I just thought I would show you how I do it. I’m not so good at talking on camera … so. I didn’t try. The paper I used today was a 100 ft roll of brown kraft paper 17.5” wide. Can you use regular wrapping paper? yes, you can, but in my opinion it’s harder to work with bc most tear easier, and it’s harder for me to fold. I like the 17.5” width the best bc it fits books pretty perfectly. I can use it from smaller books up to bigger cookbooks. There are also lots of Kraft paper with lovely designs on them that I buy, but they are more expensive. I am planning on stamping these and making them pretty. You’ll have to check back for a video of them done. I wrapped 20 books, and I’m tired. I did write out all my info on index cards for each book and tucked it in the inside cover until I got ready to wrap them, and then I tape it to the outside. That’s just the easiest way I’ve come up with for myself.
