Sometimes sequins aren’t your best friend!! After I moved this zipper to make the bodice and hip area tighter, the sequins were waging war on our attempt to zip the zipper. The bodice fit my client perfectly! But the sequins were being naughty! I loved this color on my client though!

The most recent set of Memory Bears. These combination of colors and fabrics made me so content! They all look so good! The only frustrating part was breaking so many pieces of thread while hand stitching the filling holes closed. 🙄😂

I saw a friend of a friend’s post asking for someone who might make an outfit like the first picture. She wanted this outfit as a pageant outfit for her daughter. I offered my skills because of the creations that I’ve made in the past. There was not a pattern to follow for this outfit, so that provided a little bit of difficulty. After measuring my client, getting mom‘s input as to what she wanted to see and change from the original inspiration, I was able to come up with this! My client went on to do very well at the pageant and enjoyed her outfit!

I made:
- 2 hair bows
- a pair of shorts with bows on the fronts
- a shirt with 2 layers of ruffled skirt on the bottom.
- each bow on the outfit.

I am so proud how this turned out and I’m even further happy that she was so happy with it!

This was such a neat nerdy project! My client reached out to me earlier this year and he said he didn’t have a pattern or preference as to material, so I used a pattern that was close to his picture he showed to me and i used white sheets from a thrift store to help on cost. The red fabric was new because I wasnt able to find bright red sheets at the thrift store. My client and I communicated frequently about all the questions and challenges, but when it came to the first fitting, it went so well! I truly enjoyed this project and challenge!!
