With over 15 years of experience in education, I found myself embarking on an unexpected yet deeply fulfilling journey when I began handling my mother's estate. As I sorted through the cherished items I grew up with, I felt inspired to give them a makeover and incorporate them into my current life. That experience sparked a newfound passion for transforming old things into something fresh and new.

I have always been highly creative and artistic, with an appreciation for the extraordinary. When I envision something unique but can't find it, I take it upon myself to create it. This out-of-the-box thinking has fueled my ability to craft one-of-a-kind pieces that merge beauty and function. I have a gift for seeing potential in everyday objects, turning them into something entirely new. From refurbishing furniture to designing practical household items, my work is a reflection of my ability to blend purpose with artistic expression. My unique eye for color and knack for incorporating unconventional materials into furniture designs ensure that each piece I create tells its own story. Through my work, I aim to breathe new life into forgotten treasures, transforming them into functional art that adds warmth, character, and charm to any space.

2 dates open to try your hand at using IOD - Iron Orchid Designs transfers and Dixie Belle Paint Company chalk mineral paint to make a beautiful decorative piece. Thursday, 7/23 during The Shops at 1929 craft time from 1-3 or for the class on Saturday 7/25 from 1-3. $30 and all materials provided. Participants of the class will receive a 20% discount on any Dixie Belle or IOD products purchased that day. Comment coming to add your name to the list.
