One of my favorite kinds of orders is when a collection keeps growing.

This customer originally received part of the Storykeeper Collection as a gift. After falling in love with it, they came back to build their mini library with a custom set of books—including several indie author titles that made this order extra fun to create.

There's something special about making a bookshelf that's uniquely yours. Whether it's favorite fantasy worlds, beloved classics, indie gems, or a mix of everything, every custom library tells a different story.

If you're just starting your Storykeeper Collection, begin with a shelf and add to it over time... or send me a message if you'd like to create a custom mini library filled with the books you love most. 🤍

POV: Your tiny sewing desk helped build a business... and it was finally time for an upgrade. 🥹🧵

If you've been here for a while, you know every Snug Chapters quilt, book sleeve, table runner, and custom order started on one tiny desk.

It wasn't perfect. It wasn't spacious. But it never stopped me from creating.

Fast forward to Mountain Quiltfest, where I finally got to try the Arrow Sewing sewing tables in person. One stitch was all it took. Having my machine sit flush with the table using a custom insert felt like a dream.

So I said yes.
Not because I needed a prettier sewing room... But because I wanted to invest in the future of Snug Chapters.

This is one of those milestones that reminds me how far this little business has come—from making quilts wherever I could find space, to creating a workspace built for the next chapter.

What's one purchase you've made that completely changed your hobby or business? I'd love to hear it. ❤️

One of my favorite finds from the Kentucky & Tennessee Shop Hop! 💙
This Tennessee-themed floral print is an exclusive Shop Hop fabric, only available at participating quilt shops. Between the wildflowers, butterflies, and hidden TN, it feels like the perfect keepsake from the adventure.

Now comes the hard part...
Do I turn it into:
📖 A book quilt?
🧵 A table runner?
📚 Book sleeves or book covers? 🪡 A wall hanging?
✨ Or something completely different?

I'm leaning toward making something that lets the fabric really shine, but I'd love your ideas before I make the first cut.

So... what would you make with it? ⬇️

It all started with FireGlow by Ruby Star Society.

I found the complete fat quarter bundle at a small quilt shop in Alcoa, Tennessee, and if you're a Fourth Wing fan, you know why I couldn't leave without it. The colors immediately gave me dragon rider, Basgiath, and fantasy library vibes.

Then I obviously needed the Book Nerd quilt pattern.
And then I needed the templates.
And then I spent hours cutting.
Now the best part begins... the books are finally coming together. 📚🧵

This is one of those quilts where every step makes me even more excited to see the finished piece. If all goes according to plan, it's going to feel like walking into your favorite fantasy bookshop.

Follow along to see this one come to life. I have a feeling it's going to be something special. ✨

First stop on the Kentucky & Tennessee Shop Hop and I think Muppin’s Sewing Emporium has officially set the bar.
They proudly call themselves the gothic quilt shop, and honestly... they understood the assignment. 🖤

I came home with unique fabrics I haven't seen anywhere else, skull-themed English paper piecing goodies, and a few "because why not?" treasures that absolutely had to come home with me.

One of my favorite parts of quilting is finding fabrics that inspire a whole new project, and this shop definitely delivered. I already have ideas brewing for future Snug Chapters creations.

If you're ever near Paducah, this one is worth adding to your list.

Now... who's guilty of buying fabric with absolutely no plan for it? 🙋🏻‍♀️
