Harvest Days Pageant The Galva Chamber of Commerce is proud to embrace the rich agricultural roots that have shaped our community.

We are an organization that focuses on promoting our local agriculture and the history of our town while teaching young women lifelong skills including public speaking and interview skills! Ideas of celebrating the importance of harvest within our community led to the inception of the Galva Harvest Days Pageant. The pageant is wonderful opportunity for girls to gain self- confidence, poise and cha

racter. They are judged in Interview, Harvest Wear, Pop Question, Formal Wear, Casual wear and Speech (Queen contestants). We are very proud of the accomplishments of all of our contestants, and are pleased to recognize their sportsmanship and high achievements. Their experiences through the Harvest Pageant will elevate their talents not only in public speaking, but in future networking and interview skills as well. Our winners gain awareness of community organizations, while providing various community services on their predestined paths to becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

The 2021 Harvest Days Pageant royalty will be making one last appearance in their crowns and sashes during the Parade of lights next week! We would like to invite all past royalty to join on the float! If you are in town it will be fun to have a reunion! More details to come! Please comment in the messages if you are able to attend!

We have VERY exciting news from the Harvest Pageant, any young lady running for Queen, will be eligible for scholarship money from Blackhawk!!! Please sign up by Wednesday. The team
planning the 2023 pageant is VERY excited for the upcoming year!
