💕 Let’s Talk Consignment! 💕
I’ve had quite a few people ask recently if I offer cash payouts instead of store credit, so I wanted to explain how things currently work here at Love It Twice Boutique.
As much as I would love to buy items outright, we’re still a very new small business (we just opened in April!), and right now I rely on consignments to help keep the store stocked and growing.
Here’s how my consignment program works:
🩷 You can choose to donate your items to the shop, or
🩷 Consign them and receive 40% back in store credit for each item that sells.
Once your items have been processed and sold, your store credit is added to your account. I do limit store credit redemptions to $25 per visit, but you can come in as often as you’d like during business hours to use it!
The best part? Your store credit can be used on almost everything in the store! We carry:
👕 Baby, kids, teen, and adult clothing
👟 Shoes
👜 Purses
🎒 Backpacks
💍 Jewelry
🏈 Sports gear
🧸 Toys & baby gear
🏡 Home décor
…and so much more!
A couple of exceptions:
• Store credit cannot be used on select higher-priced items.
• Store credit cannot be used on items claimed during my online Facebook sales, as those are invoiced separately.
My goal is to continue growing Love It Twice Boutique, and as the business becomes more established, I hope to eventually offer cash payouts. I’m taking things one step at a time, and every donation, consignment, purchase, share, and recommendation helps this dream continue to grow.
