Episode 1: Meet the Woman Behind the Brand
You may know the name Tranquil Designs.
You may have seen our projects, walked through our showroom, followed our transformations, or even purchased something from us.
But today, I want to introduce you to the woman behind the brand.
I’m Deri Washington.
I’m a designer.
A builder.
An entrepreneur.
A creative.
A furniture curator.
A furniture designer.
A problem solver.
And most importantly, I’m a woman who believed that a vision could become a legacy.
What started with interior design has grown into something much bigger.
Today, Tranquil Designs is more than interior design.
We design spaces.
We build spaces.
We furnish spaces.
We stage homes.
We design cabinetry.
We offer window coverings.
We provide project management.
We offer financing options.
And now, we’re even designing our own furniture collections.
From designing spaces…
to designing the pieces that live inside them.
That’s the evolution of Tranquil Designs.
Under our umbrella, we have multiple companies and multiple sides of the business working together to create a complete experience for our clients.
But behind all of it is simply a woman who loves design, transformation, and creating beautiful spaces that feel like home.
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to pull back the curtain and show you the parts of Tranquil Designs that you may not even know exist.
We’re going to talk about the design side.
The construction side.
The furniture store.
The Alexander Collection.
Cabinetry.
Window coverings.
Staging.
Our projects.
Our showroom.
The lessons.
The growth.
The wins.
And yes… even some of the challenges that came with building all of this.
Because this isn’t just a reintroduction of a company.
It’s a reintroduction of a brand, a vision, and the woman behind it.
