💐 “I don't know how to say love with flowers, but I know The Fabled Flower Bar does.” 💕

Every once in a while, a message comes along that reminds me exactly why I love doing what I do.

Back in September, Brooke sent her friend Amanda one of my floral arrangements for her birthday.

A few weeks later, Amanda reached out to me with the sweetest message.

She told me she'd been completely blown away by her birthday flowers. And now, she wanted to send something special to her friend Liz.

She described Liz as an amazing woman and trusted me to create something that would express just how much she means to her.

And then she said something I don't think I'll ever forget:

“I don't know how to say love with flowers, but I know The Fabled Flower Bar does.”

Oh, my heart. 🥹🌸

This is what makes flowers so special to me. One thoughtful gift becomes another. A little beauty gets passed along. And suddenly, there's a whole chain of people making each other feel loved.

🌸 Some friendships are just delicious. 🍽️

One of my favorite things about being a florist is getting to know the wonderful people behind other local businesses.

Recently, I brought a bouquet to the incredibly talented Chef Nicki at Mia Bistro Thai & Asian Restaurant .

And in return? She treated me to the most amazing dinner — duck and a curry dish that I am STILL thinking about. 😍

Seriously. Fantastic.

Beautiful flowers, incredible food, and a little local-business love. I think that's a pretty wonderful exchange.

🌸 Two bouquets. Two winners. A little unexpected happiness. 💕

Congratulations to Melissa and Toni, the winners of last week's bouquet giveaway!

I decided to spread the flower love a little further and surprise BOTH of them with a bouquet.

And this is the part that made my day...

Toni told me she'd been having the absolute worst day, and receiving her flowers was such a blessing. 🥹

Sometimes we forget just how much something as simple as a bouquet can mean to someone.

Flowers can't fix everything. But they can bring a little beauty into a difficult day, remind someone they're thought of, or simply make them smile.

And that, my friends, is one of the reasons I love what I do.
