Life has a funny way of teaching us. Sometimes through open doors, sometimes through closed ones. Sometimes through applause, and sometimes through criticism.
I’ve spent the last 13 years building businesses, starting over, learning, failing, growing, and getting back up. I grew up watching my grandma serve families through one of life’s hardest moments at her funeral home. She taught me that character isn’t measured when everything is easy. It’s revealed when life gets hard.
People will throw stones. They’ll misunderstand your intentions, judge a single moment, or try to write your story for you. But I’ve learned you don’t have to carry every stone that’s thrown your way. You can leave them where they fall and keep walking.
Every setback has taught me something I couldn’t have learned any other way. Every challenge has made me a little stronger, a little wiser, and a lot more grateful.
So today, I choose to see the silver lining. I choose peace over proving a point, growth over bitterness, and gratitude over resentment.
Hello, July. It’s the first day of a new month, and it’s going to be a hot one. The sun still rises. The doors still open. There are still good people in this world. That’s more than enough reason to keep moving forward.
Here’s to showing up, staying true to yourself, and letting your actions speak louder than the noise.
