I actually wrote The Loft first.

When I finished it, there was a sixteen-year gap in the story that kept nagging at me. I wanted to know what had happened during those missing years—who these people had been, what choices they had made, and what secrets were hiding in the past.

So, being the seat-of-the-pants writer that I am, I did what I always do.

I started typing.

I had no outline. I didn’t know where the story would lead. I simply followed my curiosity backward sixteen years.

And that story became The Porch.

So yes… Book Two came first. 📚

Now I’m finally getting ready to share the story that started it all.

I actually wrote The Loft first.
