Beautifully constructed mid-century wood assemblage fresh in the shop. The artist is unknown, somewhat reminiscent of the bird designs of Emil Milan. Measures about 30 inches in diameter . Many thanks to our pal Brenda for bringing this up from down South.

Hey all if you’re coming to Geneva for the Cat Power show tonight (Wednesday the 29th) we have the shop open until seven or so and have some cold Modelos in the fridge. Also check out this amazing “Helix” coat rack just brought into the shop. This one is from our personal collection, an unknown designer and maker but the consensus is it’s a 1970s or 80s Scandinavian design. Rare!

Hey freaks! Punk rock show tonight at Total Recall in Geneva if you haven’t already heard, Lookout Honeys with Geneva’s own World Heroes. We’re in the shop til 6:00 then we’re all heading over, 7:00!

Super mid-century oil on canvas by Cleveland artist Alex Dery (1901-1978). Likely a Cleveland location with warehouses on the waterfront (Cuyahoga river?). Dated 1953, magnificent color, we especially love the treatment of the water.

In the shop today (Friday) until six and tomorrow 11 to 6 o’clock. Fresh in this sexy compact Thonet lounge chair, reupholstered some time ago in an attractive light blue velvet.
