At the clothing market, we got to see our beautiful Taryn’s equestrian line, Novella Equestrian, at the WESA Western Show! 🤎🐎

Taryn is my cousin and Neicey’s niece, so Novella Equestrian is extra special to us! 🥰 And Dede at The Official Page of 5/A Baker® has been such a blessing to our family! We couldn’t pass by without stopping in for some hugs and of course… a little silliness! 😂🤎

One huge mistake we made at market last year… 👀🤎

Okay, we’re going to be honest. 😂

Our aesthetic here at Denise’s Adornments is LIGHT, LIGHT, LIGHT. 🤍 Creams, whites, neutrals… that’s our happy place! And what our customers LOVE!!

Of course, we LOVE adding a little brown for fall. 🍂 But last year, we got a little carried away because, well… we love brown! 😂🤎

We actually said we weren’t going to buy not even ONE piece of brown merchandise again.

And then we went to market.

And apparently forgot that conversation ever happened. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

There were just SO many cute things we couldn’t help ourselves!

Polka dots… stripes… and a TON of fun mixed-fabric pieces that we literally pinched each other over because we both wanted them! 😂

So yes… we may have gotten a little carried away.

But hey… we think you’re going to love the mistakes we made. 🤎🍂😉

Day One in Dallas 🤠🤎

Well, that’s a wrap on Day One in Dallas!

One of our biggest focuses today was our Cowboy Room, and we had SO much fun shopping for it! 🤠

Western has actually been a staple at Neicey’s here at Denise’s Adornments for over a decade, and with western style being bigger than ever right now, we decided it was time to add a few more fun pieces to the mix!

And we’re seeing that it’s not just for country concerts anymore! 🤎

Our girls are coming in looking for their western outfits for vacations, festivals, concerts, Nashville trips, Vegas, barn weddings, parties—and honestly, anywhere they want to have a little fun with their style!

So if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to add a little western to your wardrobe… consider this your sign. 😉

We are SO excited to share that The Scout Guide Western Suburbs Chicago has officially landed—and Denise’s is honored to be part of it!

This beautiful guide celebrates the incredible local businesses, makers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and stories that make our community such a special place to live, shop, dine, and explore. We love being surrounded by so many people who believe in supporting local and making our little communities thrive.

Our copy has arrived, and we can’t wait for you to see it! ✨ If you haven’t received one in your mailbox yet, keep an eye out—we’ll be sharing soon where you can pick up your complimentary copy.

Our first series will focus on The Fruit of the Spirit. Together, we will begin this journey focused on Joy—discovering how true joy is found not in circumstances, but in a life connected to God’s presence and purpose.
