One last Colorado cabin escape recap and it was everything my soul needed. 🏔️✨ Amazing road trips, rushing rivers, majestic mountains, wildlife, drinks and laughter with dear friends, and quiet moments surrounded by nature. We will never Forget! I will never Forget landing at NYC LaGuardia airport 2 weeks after 9/11 on a mission trip to serve NYC. The people, sorrow, tears, sights and smells will never be forgotten. It was there on the sidewalks at ground zero God gave me the words to pray face to face with those who came everyday to stand and wait for news of finding their loved ones. It was there I discovered that God’s Word & Love heals and brings life even in the mist of fire and loss. Let us never Forget! This video includes my pictures 25 years ago! 🙏

Colorado, you’ve done it again. 🏔️🤍

Wrapping up the sweetest mountain getaway with Lisa, our cabin tucked among the aspens, wandering the streets of Salida, taking in the beauty of Crested Butte, and exploring the wild, breathtaking landscapes of Western Colorado.

There’s just something about these mountains that makes you slow down, look up, and stand in awe. The rushing rivers, endless peaks, brilliant blue skies, aspens dancing in the breeze, wildlife around every turn… what a beautiful reminder of God’s majesty and the wonder of His creation. 🙌

Good adventures are even better when shared with a dear friend. So grateful for the miles, the laughter, the conversations, the memories and a front-row seat to some of God’s finest handiwork.

Sometimes the best therapy isn’t found in a schedule—it’s found around a cabin table, on a mountain trail, or in the laughter of women who fill your soul.

Here’s to slowing down, breathing deeper, chasing sunsets, making memories, and soaking in every beautiful mile of Colorado. 🤍

Grateful for this time away, this view, and these friendships. The Rockies have my heart. 🫶🏔️

Today we celebrate the land of the free because of the brave. We honor the courageous men and women who have defended our nation’s freedoms, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and give thanks for the blessings of liberty we enjoy each day.
As we gather with family and friends, may we never forget the words that have united generations:
