Tonight is all about original music and the people behind it. Garrick brings more than 20 years of experience in the Central Kentucky music scene. Walker brings songs rooted in Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky River country. Cordell brings more than four decades of songwriting to the round.

Tomorrow night we turn the Underground over to the songwriters.

Garrick Howell, Walker White, and Cordell Gevedon join us for our next Songwriters Round, hosted by Jason Kyle Smith.

These nights are a little different from a regular live music show. You get to hear original songs straight from the people who wrote them. Sometimes you hear the story behind the song. Sometimes you might hear something brand new.

That’s what makes these rounds so much fun.

One of the things we love most about our Songwriters Rounds is getting to put artists from different generations and different parts of Kentucky in the same room.

On September 2, Garrick Howell, Walker White, and Cordell Gevedon take the stage at Georgetown Underground.

Garrick has been part of the Central Kentucky music scene for more than two decades and has written and recorded several albums worth of original music.

Walker White brings the sound of Eastern Kentucky with songs inspired by Kentucky River country and the place he calls home.

Cordell Gevedon has been singing for more than 60 years and writing songs for more than 40.

Three songwriters. Three different perspectives. One night of original Kentucky music.

We’ve got another Songwriters Round coming to Georgetown Underground!

Join us Wednesday, September 2 from 6–8 PM for an evening of original music with Garrick Howell, Walker White, and Cordell Gevedon, hosted by Jason Kyle Smith.

Garrick Howell has spent more than 20 years performing throughout Central Kentucky and beyond, writing and recording a large catalog of original music along the way.

Walker White is an Eastern Kentucky songwriter whose music is rooted in Kentucky River country. His debut album, Kentucky River Folk, reflects the places and stories that shaped him.

Cordell Gevedon brings decades of experience to the round, with more than 40 years spent writing songs of his own.

Come hear the songs and the stories behind them.

Tomorrow afternoon, Solace & Sundry takes over the Saturday Set stage at Georgetown Underground! 🎶

This Central Kentucky acoustic group creates original music rooted in Appalachian storytelling and inspired by the places and experiences that shaped them.

At the heart of their music is the idea that songs can bring people together, offer a little comfort, spark reflection, and celebrate the experiences we share.

We think that sounds like a pretty great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
