Part 2: Designing the Sleeves 🧵

The front panel is finished, so now it’s time to build the sleeves.

This part is a lot of moving pieces around until everything feels balanced. Sometimes one tiny change means rearranging half the design… but that’s all part of the process.

Slowly but surely, it’s starting to come together.

Part 1: Designing the Front Panel 🧵

Every hoodie starts as a pile of thrifted pieces, a graphic, and a whole lot of trial and error.

This time I finally upgraded my templates from cardboard to clear plastic… and I don’t think I’m ever going back. 😂

(Featuring Skye, my very dedicated “assistant,” who insisted on supervising.)

Every piece I make starts with thrifted clothing and gets a completely new life. No duplicates, no mass production… just one unique piece at a time. ♻️

I love taking overlooked, thrifted clothes and giving them a completely new life.

Project 10, ‘Wild & Free’ instead of a hoodie,
I made a crewneck featuring:

✂️ Patchwork design
🧵 Kangaroo pocket
🤫 Zipper pocket
🪡 Original flannel pocket added to the front (yes… removing it was a whole adventure 😂)

💜 Every Threads Made Again piece is one of one. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Goodwill Closing Haul… (Part 4!) 🛒

More of the pieces I kept for myself!

Almost everything you see was just $1 during the Goodwill closing sale. 🤯 (The heels were a separate thrift find for $7.)

Before anyone comes for my outfit choices… 😂 These aren’t styled outfits! I was just trying on each thrift find to show everything I picked up, so some of the pieces definitely aren’t meant to be worn together.

Some of my favorite brands from this haul include Jeanne Pierre, J.Crew, American Eagle, LOFT, Banana Republic, GAP, Workshop Republic Clothing, and BDG.

I especially love the little cardinal mock neck- it reminds me of my grandma. ❤️

Okay… these weren’t for hoodie projects. 😂

I found a few dresses during the Goodwill closing sale that were just too good to leave behind. There are some amazing finds in here, including Calvin Klein and H&M, and they’re officially staying in my closet. 💜
