Today I turn 41 but wanted to reflect on this past year. A year filled with so much sorrow for many in America and around the world. I’ll continue to try to spread kindness every chance I get 🙏🏼

1) I turned 40 & have everything I want 🥺

2) My girl turned 4! She does amazing in school and make us so proud. And she loves a theme party of course! 🧜‍♀️

3,4,5 & 6) Visited my family’s vacation home in downtown Miami only once in 2025 and we missed it a lot. But we still managed to enjoy South beach, have dinner at our favorite; Carbone and build more memories in the east coast.

7) Love preparing for a road trip. It’s chaotic but so fun to get away from the demands of everyday responsibilities.

8) Mom and dad are a bit tired of going to Disneyland 1-2 x a year 😅 So we decided to take Ale to Universal Studios and had the best time EVER.

9-10) Shoutout to the in Newport Beach where we have stayed at several times and they always go above and beyond for us 🙏🏼

11) I got into antique shopping over the summer and it has become my favorite hobby 🪹

12) Fall arrives to Arizona and is my favorite time of the year. 100 degrees and all 😭

13) We hosted G’s family for pumpkin carving and an ornament exchange over Christmas and this will become a new tradition for us. Everyone coming together was the best 🤎

14) Our small business got into Silobration with Magnolia in Waco, Texas and it was our highest profit three day market EVER which lead us to have our best year in business yet. We took selfies with Jo Gaines.
I’ll always treasure the community of small business owners that I met. This experience also brought G and I closer together because it reminded us what a good team we make in life.

15) Our alpaca wool stuffed animals 🧸🦙My pride and joy. We launched new items again such as sharks, goats, rhinos, eagles etc and of course our much anticipated HIGHLAND COWS!

16&17) Of course I ended up taking my girl to Disneyland. The Christmas parade was 👌

18,19&20) Took Ale with my mom back to my old neighborhood in Beverly Hills and later visited The Grove ( my fave in LA), took photos with Santa and visited the Jellycat pop up up shop ☕️🛍️

We are over the moon to ANNOUNCE that we will be heading to Waco, Texas for with (last slide feels so surreal)
As the owner of our alpaca wool business I feel incredibly proud and honored to have been chosen to bring our alpaca wool stuffed animals to thousands of people. My mission has always been to better the lives of the people of my native Peru who didn’t grow up with the same opportunities that I did. At the age of 18 I was fortunate to come and study abroad in the United States where I got my degree in Family Studies at ASU. I would then spend the next decade working with some of the most vulnerable populations of this country that I love so much who were affected by addiction, mental illness and domestic violence. But I always knew that at some point I’d become an entrepreneur and trying to continue to make a difference in other people’s lives has always been my priority. Thanks to my family I grew up incredibly privileged but they always ensured to teach me from an early age that this isn’t the reality for many Peruvian people or even others who try to survive under poverty line on a day to day basis. I was determined to employ as many artisans as we can in exchange of their beautiful handmade work. Our artisans along with our brand have brought countless of smiles to our customers in Arizona and all over the US. As a small business we always strive to grow. But for me being a present mother and wife is my outmost priority so when an opportunity like this comes along we feel an extra amount of joy because it shows me that I’m not only accomplishing my own goals (where the majority of the time they come in second place) but I’m also setting an example to my daughter to work hard for what she wants in her future. Lastly, to our customers who continue to shop from us year after year we can’t thank you ENOUGH.

We will be fully stocked with a few NEW items ( ALPACA ORNAMENTS are coming back in five colors) and some of your favorite items have been restocked ( mermaids, bunnies, alpaca llamas, alpaca pom pom keychains, medium alpaca lions and much more)!
The rain hurt a lot of businesses last week so shop small and thank you for your support. It means everything to us!

WOW! Last week was 🤯 I just need to take a second to THANK everyone who helped us last Thursday with the winds. I will never forget how we all came together and I love being part of this community. Also to my friends from who weren’t part of this event but where there for me with your kindness, I love and appreciate you very much.
THANK YOU to all of the customers who went above and beyond supporting our shop after we had to close early. Our sales at Sugarplums for Friday and Saturday were some of our best this year in a single day and we appreciate it more than you know. It gave us the confidence that we needed after such a stressful and scary day. And we loved being part of Made for Mama for the second year in a row. The location was stunning and we cannot wait to be back in February the weekend before Valentine’s Day. Cody and Maribeth pour their souls into what they do so that we can succeed and I love being part of Made with Love.

Today is for the next 3 days! And what better time than to introduce our newest ALPACA stuffed animal; the flamingo.
When I found out I was having a girl two years ago I wanted to decorate her nursery with one but did not like any of the options out there. So we created this one using the most luxurious and softest alpaca hair but the beautiful end result goes out to our Peruvian artisans.
