Remember Suz’s build up she was working on last week??

We got to see it on the bride at her last alterations appointment! It’s amazing to see the progress at each fitting! From a completely strapless dress to a full build up of the neck line that seamlessly blends into the most gorgeous sleeve detail.

There’s still so much Suzanne has to do to make this dress perfect, follow along with us as we turn off the rack gowns into the perfect fit and style for each bride!

Those little yellow dots all over the dress? They’re not stains… they’re pins.

And yes, we use a LOT of them.
Pins are how we temporarily hold everything in place before we sew. Think of them as our blueprint. They let us test the fit, move lace around, make design changes, and make sure every detail is exactly where it should be before anything becomes permanent.

On this gown, we’re completely transforming the look by:
• Bringing the neckline up for more coverage.
• Covering the open back with matching lace appliqués.
• Adding custom sleeves.

Every one of those pins is helping us make sure it looks like it was always meant to be that way.
And before anyone asks… no, you won’t be getting poked at you alterations appointment. We help you into your gown, pin everything while you’re standing still, then carefully help you out before we start sewing. You leave with zero pins—just a perfectly planned alteration.

Operation H2O did exactly what we hoped it would 🤍
