Next up in our Meet the Makers Series- Angie Sowell makes up half of the Two Friends department!

She is a talented seamstress, painter, and all around crafty lady.

Angie says: Fall and Christmas are my favorite holidays!!!! Fall projects are ready and Christmas is soon in the works!!! You can see fall towels and fall potholders which I love.

Her wood blocks and church pictures are also hot items and she always has the cutest salt and pepper sets.

We want you to meet some of our makers and curators, here at Rockin’ E Mercantile. I’ve ask them all to tell a few things so you can get to know who is behind what you see here.

First up is The Back Porch.

Nicki Slater and Phyllis James call their booth The Back Porch.

Nicki says: Mom and I are sitting at our sewing machines instead of cleaning our houses. Hahaha! All those projects need good homes to go to. Thank goodness for Rockin E!

When inspiration comes, we get to sewing and make a bunch. We do love custom orders too though. Nothing beats a one-of-a-kind item!

Mom’s big sellers are microwave bowl cozies, jar lid openers and baby burp cloths. My best sellers are the neck bone pillows. Man are those things comfortable!
