Booking appointments with Cristy Gutierrez just got easier!

When texting or leaving a message on voicemail, please include the following:
- 1st and last name.
- Phone number.
- Hair and facial waxing services desired.
- Days, dates, times you're available.

I will get back with you ASAP with available appointment times.

If I don't answer right away, I'm either with a client currently, on personal time, or possibly sleeping! 🤔🤣 I mean this # can get text/voicemails 24/7.🤷‍♀️

Dinosaur phone system to book appointments with me is GONE. ❤️

You can now text the same Cristy's Salon # 989-426-7158 to book appointments directly through me.

->This doesn't mean I'll be available 24/7/365.
--While I attend to clients in real time, I will set phone to silent.
--And also, while with FAMILY.
--->I WILL get back with you, as soon as I'm available.

That being said, I will actually be more available. When I'm out of the building, any messages for an appointment, have to wait until I'm physically back in the building to get that message from the answering machine. Now, daily, I will beable to check messages. Sometimes even right away. Just not always, all the time.

This is already a long post, so check the next one for the most important information I need when leaving a message.

LET ME KNOW IF ANYTHING'S NOT WORKING. Those that KNOW ME, KNOW! I have the best luck with electronic (anything). 🤣🤣🤣🤷‍♀️

In true Cristy Gutierrez reality, electronics aren't working for me. 🤷‍♀️

Shocker --> an electronic not working for me. 🤣🤣🤣

I've been to the cellular place 3 times in the last 7 days. Phone calls are going through correctly, I believe. PLEASE CONTACT ME HERE IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY ISSUES.

She has so much hair!! Takes a bit extra time from start to finish.

Not giving you choices this time. Just guess, how long do you think this took? 🤔

It has been brought to my attention that some may not be able to call the salon right now. It's saying we are screening our calls and then hangs up on you. We are not and have no idea why it's doing this. As we are set up on a land line through Verizon, we have no way to correct this right now.

I already have an appointment set up Saturday (yes the 4th of July) for new phone services. Until we get the services changed on Saturday, please feel free to message here. And 🙏 after everything is updated, this issue will go away!

Ran across a video this weekend that made me 🤣 for sure! And took me back to memories of working in grandmas salon.

"I mean I guess they call it a butterfly cut now. I just call it long layers."

So true, but also reminded me of grandma Irene. She didn't mince words, just said it like IT IS. 🤔🙏

When clients say I want (fill in the blank to the latest verbiage!), I say, show me a picture.

The insane amount of times I've been shown a S**g haircut in the last 30 years, while being explained 64 other terminologies of it. 🤔🤷‍♀️🤗🤣

I have a client, right now, with a Dorothy Hamill haircut. While this cut is also, same as S**g, before my hairdressing time, it wasn't before my grandma's. She was also a hairdresser, and taught me the foundation of hairdressing from an early age. By 12, I was washing hair and taking out rollers in her salon. 12 year olds can't do that anymore, under current regulations. Not even sure it was ok in 1984. 🤔🤷‍♀️

To now say I have 36 years, licensed behind the chair, seems crazy! Feeling blessed right now, for sure. Can't wait to see this next chapter unfold!

Color correction isn't always easy. In fact, most times it's not. But this one, I knew I had to take care of immediately.

When a long time client calls for help, for her mama. You make it happen.

Mom dyed her own hair black, not understanding what she was doing. Daughter wanted to help her fix it. Took her to 2 recommended hairdressers before me, trying to save money. Sometimes, the most expensive option is actually the cheapest.

Color correction can take hours and hours. Even having to spread correction process over many appointments.
