One question I get a lot. “How much do I really need for a down payment?”
The honest answer - it depends on your loan program, and it’s often less than people think.
Some buyers put down 20%, but many programs let you start far lower if any down payment at all.
The best move? Get pre approved first. It tells you your real number instead of a guess, and it makes your offer stronger when you find “the one”.
