Happy Pride, Everyone.

Yes, we carry a lot of colorful gowns at Lorien, but I’m most proud of WHY we carry so many colorful gowns.

We wouldn’t sell these unique pieces well enough to make them part of our that’s-the-store-that-carries-the-fantastical-styles reputation if it wasn’t for the fact that our clients span the rainbow as well.

Because you guys feel comfortable enough at Lorien to ask to show your personalities in your bridal wear, we get to share in your pride for who you are, and there’s nothing better than that feeling. Yes, it’s wonderful to hear someone say that feel beautiful, yes, it’s great to hear that someone loves what they’re wearing, but nothing compares to someone saying “this feels like me.”

Pride month is all about equality for and the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. I am honored to have so many clients in this community come here to Lorien and tell me that they feel at home, they feel accepted, and, most of all, they feel heard.

Of course you don’t have to wear a colorful gown to your wedding if you’re q***r, and of course you can wear that rainbow gown if you’re not even a tiny bit gay (you sure though? ☺️), but Pride is about celebrating yourself and your own magic, so wether you’re part of the community or an ally, we’re honoring you and thanking you for supporting our small, nerdy, q***r, colorful, magical business.

PS - this rainbow gown is the first of the Jolie Fae Couture gowns to hit Lorien, more coming soon, and a full trunk show of their collection to happen later this year!!

We have not been great about posting content on our page due to the fact that we are putting our energy into other social media platforms, and Facebook tends to distort the content that was made on other platforms, but we will do our best to be more vigilant about posting on Facebook this year. However, please follow us on our Instagram and TikTok if you have not already. We are going to do better about posting on Facebook this year, it has just a lot of users in the age range of our clientele so it haven’t been as much of a priority. Sorry, Facebook, we’ll see what you can do for us and try to make more of a presence here!

$99-899 SAMPLE SALE!!

We have never done a sample sale quite like this!

July 20th and 21st

All gowns under $900

Some gowns as low as $99

All off the rack

Gown sizes 10-24
(This is bridal gown sizing which tends to run about two sizes small, so size up about two sizes from your “normal street clothes” when picking out a gown)

Each client allowed up to two guests to attend the sale with them. Absolutely no exceptions.

No appointment necessary, we will open at 10 am and will let clients into the shop in increments so as to keep everything running as quickly as possible, so get here early if you want to have first pick!

HOWEVER, if you would prefer to have some more one-on-one time with a stylist, but still only want to look at sample sale gowns, we are taking sample sale APPOINTMENTS later in the afternoon. These appointments allow you more time with a stylist, up to four guests, and a little more time. PS - if you message or email us to let us know that you will be coming to the sale, we will tell you the secret that will allow you to skip the line. If enough of you are interested in skipping the line, we will open an hour earlier just for the bunch of you.

Our clients bring us the best inspiration when shopping for their wedding gowns.

This person wanted to, and I quote, “look like Galadriel if she was in The Great Gatsby and had all her powers, but also way too much money.”

My immediate joy was apparently very evident on my face.
