Dawn possesses a deep connection to this building, perhaps even more than anyone else. She honed her skills years ago while working for the original factory located here until 1996. Now, she utilizes those very skills to help you. Whether its altering garments to achieve the perfect, customized fit, or breathing new life into a favorite with discrete repairs, her expert hands effortlessly tackle any task! However, Dawn's true passion lies in upcycling, transforming the familiar into something fresh and exciting
Dawn loves to have fun with fabric, to get creative. From repurposing old sweaters into one-of-a-kind holiday decorations and cozy mittens, to converting old neckties into aprons and skirts, Dawn's always reinventing the items people are done with into something new to love. In her studio, she seamlessly incorporates her handmade creations with the vintage treasures she has discovered during her travels, adding a sense of timelessness to the space
