*Update*
After reaching out to the organization we were not able to find who this was originally made for, but we did find it a home. A young member loved her trips with the group so much that she wanted just this type of blanket but couldn't bear to cut up her own shirts. Her mother is gifting this to her to she can have the best of both worlds. I know my mom would be so happy to see this quilt finding a home with someone who will love it.
Found this quilt among my mom’s collection. It is made from tshirts we do not recognize. It was either a sample for the shop or a gift for someone. If you recognize the shirts or are interested please drop me a message.

Friends, we will finally be having a proper service for Wanda. She loved you all and her time at Granny's was some of the best of her life. It's going to be in Ohio so a bit far for many of you, but if you are in the area, please join us as we honor a talented and amazing woman.

Happy Halloween everyone! I was able to complete this costume thanks to the plentiful variety of button’s leftover from the Granny’s Button Bin! Also, years of my mom’s costume expertise inspired me to be creative this year. ❤️

I am beginning to go through my moms trove of sewing treasures. This partially completed quilt needs someone’s loving touch. If you are interested please let me know. I’m willing to ship it somewhere if it means it will find a loving home. ❤️

Looking for advice on how to mend this quilt of Wanda’s. Sadly, she is the one I would have turned to to fix this.
My first inclination was to simply pin and sew with the machine but that messes up the pattern and leaves puckering at the corner.

Here is Wanda’s official obituary, written by her daughter Samantha.

Sad news. Wanda passed early this morning at home with Tom. She was peaceful and had Kitty (the dog) curled up at her feet. I know she loved you all and I thank you for your kind words and thoughts. We will probably be having a small visitation later this week and I will have that information soon if anyone wants to pay their respects.
Thank you all for your patronage and love over the years. Running Granny's was one of her happiest times.

It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with you all. Wanda’s health has been declining for some time and earlier this week, on her birthday, she entered into hospice care. She loved working at Granny’s and her time serving you all was some of the best of her life.
Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers/hearts.

While “Granny” herself is not sewing anymore, her stash of Granny’s Sewing Den fabrics were donated and used to make some of these face masks for CHOP. I recognized the food fabric right away (esp the curly fries as I have a scrub top made of it)
We hope you are all staying safe and healthy during these difficult times.
We would love to see any fun crafts you have been making!
Love from the GSD family
