Today, I was reminded why kindness matters so much.

Today stopped by Pretty Kind on her day off. She’s in the middle of opening her own business , had her two little ones with her, and still took the time to bring us a candle because she knows how much we love burning them in the boutique.

To some people, it might seem like such a small gesture. It’s just a candle.

But the truth is, it meant so much more than that.

It was a reminder that kindness often comes from a place deeper than obligation. Sometimes it feels like we’re called to show up for someone at exactly the moment they need it most. We may never know what another person is carrying, what kind of day they’re having, or how much a simple act can mean.

Today, that small act completely shifted my perspective and reminded me that there are truly good people in this world.

Let’s all try to be that person for someone else. Send the text. Drop off the coffee. Give the compliment. Leave the note. Share the candle.

Because what feels small to you might mean everything to someone else.

And that’s the kind of kindness that changes the world. ❤️
