Few gemstones tell the story of Arizona quite like Sleeping Beauty turquoise. 💙

Discovered near Globe, Arizona, the Sleeping Beauty Mine earned its name because the mountain's silhouette resembles a sleeping woman with her arms folded. For decades, the mine produced some of the world's most prized turquoise, celebrated for its clear, robin's-egg blue color with very little matrix. Its exceptional beauty made it a favorite of Native American silversmiths, Southwestern artisans, and jewelry designers around the world.

When turquoise mining at Sleeping Beauty ceased in the early 2010s, authentic pieces became increasingly rare and highly sought after. Today, genuine Sleeping Beauty turquoise is treasured not only for its beauty but also as a piece of Arizona's rich mining heritage.
