In just the last four days, MADACC has taken in 53 dogs, bringing the total number of dogs in our care to 146. Every single kennel is full. As the animal control facility for Milwaukee County, we cannot turn away stray animals—no matter how full we are. This means splitting kennels in half to accommodate more dogs.

How can you help?
• Share our posts to spread the word.
• Let others know that MADACC is the first place to check if they lose their pet.
• Consider fostering, volunteering, or adopting to help us create space and save lives.

Most importantly, MADACC’s mission is to reunite animals with their loving families. Together, we can make that happen.

We are in the process of moving the Shoe Repair to Wisconsin. We no longer have walk in service. If you have items still needing to be picked up, please call 309-965-3250 and we can schedule a time to meet. We are still completing orders on climbing/hiking shoe resoles. We have a situation that we need help with. The foster for Minnie, Mickey and Michelangelo can no longer foster them due to a sudden medical situation. We need to get the three to a new foster home or homes ASAP. If you are already interested in adopting any of these lovable pups, we can do a foster-to-adopt arrangement to make this easier for everyone. Please let us know if you're able to help out with these fabulous puppies so they get the home they do richly deserve! ❤️🐶
