A little update from Matt’s workshop…

As some of you may have heard, Matt had a pretty serious accident while we were away on Cape Cod. He’s currently at Boston Medical Center, where he’s undergoing multiple surgeries to repair the damage to his leg. It’s going to be a long road to recovery, but he’s doing well and taking things one day at a time.

Of course, anyone who knows Matt knows that keeping him away from sewing machines for too long is probably going to be a challenge!

Matt fully intends to get back to repairing and restoring machines as soon as he’s home this week. We’ve already made some adjustments to his workbench and workspace so he can work comfortably while he recovers. He may not be able to get around very well for a while, but he’s certainly looking forward to getting his hands back on those machines!

Greg (our son) and I (Marie) will be helping with machine pickups and drop-offs, so customers won’t have to worry about how to get their machines to and from him.

We may need a little extra patience and flexibility as we figure out his recovery, but Matt is looking forward to getting back to doing what he loves, and we’re going to do everything we can to make that possible.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Matt and trusted him with your machines. Your kindness, patience, and encouragement mean more than you know. ❤️
