It really does seem like everything is plastic these days. And hey, we aren’t plastic haters, but we are intentional about the products we bring into the store. We can’t avoid plastic, it is part of our lives, but we can and do work hard to find alternatives. In our store, you’ll find: Wood, rubber, silicone, recycled plastics, and other eco-concious items.

We’d love to help you navigate the intentionality of your choices. Whether that’s coming into the store, shopping online, or joining our email list, we’ll meet you where you are without making life harder.

Lower your expectations:
– It won’t be as relaxing as you’re used to.
– It will be worth it, because you could be doing this exact same thing, just not on vacation.
– Snacks solve most things.

When families come into Colorado Baby looking for first shoes, many of their babies are just beginning to walk and they are hoping for some support while they’re learning this new skill. We often use this analogy when explaining the experience of adding a shoe to newly walking feet; imagine you are looking to learn a new tactile skill with your hands. If you were to wear thick gloves on your hands, it would make learning the new task much more difficult.

Kid tested, mom approved - literally.

This is a personal opinion (but I can’t be the only one here); your baby/toddler will probably press the same button over. and over. and over. Enough times to make your eye twitch. I speak from experience. Ha. That’s why we are purposeful in the toys we stock. Come in and try them out yourself, find the ones that don’t make your eye twitch.
