Warm and Cool 101..
Warm colors (red, yellow, and orange- and all that lies between) breathe energy, positivity, and sunshine into any room. They are used to create intimate and cozy spaces.
Cool colors (blue, green, and purple) evoke relaxation and calm. They contribute to a sleek, yet soothing vibe.
Neutrals can also lean warm or cool depending on their undertones.

Why I love using small ottomans:
Extra seating can be a life-savor as a host. You can utilize space under console tables, sofa tables, or in front of your fire place by placing a couple, small ottomans there. They can be used for extra places to sit, things to kick your feet up on that can be put away after use, and (depending on the piece) as storage! They are functional and fashionable pieces!
