In between some downtime and my volunteer duties I have done a few more jackets and vintage fabric eyeglass cases. I’m taking a break this long weekend to head north to camp with some family members , shut off, and get inspired. I’m so ready for Fall. Busy weekend modifying and creating. Jean jacket and long sleeve chambray weather is coming up, along with soup weather and I never cook without an apron. The apron fabric was supposed to be for a diaper bag back in 2001 which never came to fruition so here it is with a MCM look as an apron . The sheer open back is reserved. Everything’s at Home & Heritage Craft & Antique Market in my booth, Lucky Lu.

Repurposed a few items today that are ready to be placed at Home & Heritage Craft & Antique Market.

Thrift find new vest , size M with some fabulous Fabric scrap I quilted, cross back
apron ( S-M)with end of bolt drapery fabric and trim, and 100 percent linen tie vest( 8-10) from a drapery display in a Chicago store. See something you want, stop in and see my creations.

Some of you have seen my items at Home & Heritage Craft & Antique Market or specifically on this page. I am requesting feedback that is helpful and constructive.
What do you think I should make more of, make different, or ideas to enhance my space and appeal? I have more fabric from quilts, tablecloths, etc that has been saved from landfills and getting ready to bring in more but I want to create what customers want. Thank you for your input and support

These may look easy to make but trust me, it is no easy job. I love the whimsical look of these fabrics on denim that scream like a good mullet “business in the
front, party in the back”. Oh and Indy for tax, he’s on top of a slide getting his sun on. Adding these beauties to Home & Heritage Craft & Antique Market along with some other goodies.

Some unexpected health issues have tried to set us back but we are both on the mend now. We managed to get our Cousin Camp vacation in with matching shirts, where a magnificent miracle occurred, allowing my twin grands to re unite with their birth siblings 🙏🏽. I made 30- 250th celebratory shirts for our family Fourth
Celebration with the help of my daughter, and I was able to thrift a couple cool items for the shop. I am looking forward to getting back to the store to finish up the display yet this week. Life is indeed good.
