Back in August I got to do my SILs hair to get her through the rest of her pregnancy! We don’t live even relatively close so Balayage was a great choice since she was due early November and the grow out is seamless. I cleaned up her ends to bring it back to a healthy state.

This color was too good not to bring on for a permanent spot on the wall

MATERNITY LEAVE DETAILS*** Its that time to start planning ahead! My last day in the salon planned as of now is 5/12! That can obviously change so if you don’t want to be flexible I would book earlier spring to be safe.

My planned return is mid-July for only 3 days a week (most likely Monday,Wednesday & Fridays). My exact return date will be posted when I have one set in stone. My goal is to spend more time with my family and have a very healthy balance with home and work life 🤍 I appreciate y’all and the flexibility you allow for me to grow as a mom & stylist!

I will be taking all of maternity leave after the baby comes off of social media so make sure to save my contact info posted in my profile for easy communication during that break!

Before & after! New client to me. She came in with a ton of red undertone from old highlights. She wanted to be an all over one color, closer to her natural color. She also still wanted to see some warmth that reflected in the sun. For her haircut she didn’t want to see much length off, soft layers and a shorter, chin length face frame.

She went with the gloss option to try it out! We loved the results so maybe next time we will go with an all over color for longer lasting results 🤎

A gloss is a great option if you’re looking to just tone color or unwanted warmth out, add shine-LOTS of shine-but it’s also an option if you’re wanting to try something new & don’t want to commit to it longer term. A gloss is a semi-permanent color that will fade fully after a few months.
* I always book out extra time to consult before your appointment! If you’re not sure which route to take don’t worry- we can chat and decide beforehand!
* my absolute favorite part of this client makeover was her haircut. Got off those dead ends and added the prettiest soft layering! We took off 2.5 inches and you can’t even tell! **Dead ends will never add to your length. Cut them off- they are called dead ends for a reason

“I didn’t know what I wanted, but this is exactly what I wanted”. It all comes down to the consultation. Thorough, detailed and not rushed are all key components to learning about your client, their wants and their needs!

This particular client was new to me. She wanted cooler tones rather than warm, she wanted lived-in so she could have the option to go 3 months or go a year! Her haircut was just a trim, but she did want some movement without heavy layers.

Happy client makes a very happy stylist. 🤍

The request was BLONDER, but still natural & rooty while having a money piece that pops! She also wanted her grays covered and for her ends (& hair in general) to look healthy.

SERVICE BREAKDOWN
*partial root touch up- she only needed her front part of her hair colored to cover grays. Demi permanent- let process for as long as possible
*Full balayage- the only way to get the color all on one page if you’re going drastically lighter.
*wet balayage to the front to add a boost of extra lightness
*olaplex to keep things healthy
*Haircut to ensure ends are not splitting & breaking
