Valentine's Day is the perfect time to buy your special someone flowers, and boy, do I have flowers . . . real flower jewelry, suncatchers, framed art, trinket bowls and more. My last vendor event was before Christmas and since I don't seem to know how to stop making stuff, I've got a lot! This Saturday, February 8th, I'll be a vendor at the "Valentine's Market and Craft Fair" being put on by Tooele Scout Unit 314 at the Dow James Center in Tooele from 10 am to 3 pm.
I'm also going to attempt something new there. I'm setting up a small table in my booth space with materials and instructions to help my customers make themselves a FREE (!) Valentine with real flowers. Just test-driving this idea. Not sure if anyone will be interested or not, but anytime I've given workshops on making stuff, people seem to get excited, so I'm going to give it a try there.
Saturday is also a "Scouting for Food" collection event, so nonperishable food donations are welcome.

I'll be selling my real flower stuff at the Tooele Senior Center this Thursday, 11/21, from 9 am to 2 pm. Since many seniors are on fixed incomes, I'm having a FLASH SALE, $2 off every item that day only. The public is invited to this sale (and I'm not "carding" anyone to see if they're a senior!) so come on down!

Oh, I am having WAY TOO MUCH FUN!!! I've started resining (is that even a word?) individual pressed flowers and love how they're turning out! I'll have these and my other real flower jewelry (necklaces and earrings in both resin and in cabochons-and-bezels), suncatchers, framed flowers, and trinket bowls for sale THIS SATURDAY at the Holiday Kickoff Boutique at the Dow James Center in Tooele from 9 am to 4 pm. Here's my setup at ArtWalk Gardiner last evening. Had a fun time and sold a few things! I forgot to post these photos while I was there Friday night. Actually, didn't forget, just got so busy that I didn't get a chance . . . and now it's taken me all day today to recuperate. Did my first (and probably LA$T!) charcuterie board. Thank you, Selene's Fly Shop for hosting me in your lovely shop.
