We should probably introduce ourselves officially.
For the past few months, we’ve been slowly taking the reins here at Sierra Custom Ink. We’ve already had the pleasure of meeting many of our customers, and we can’t wait to meet the rest of you.
As of this week, it finally feels right to say it: Sierra Custom Ink is officially ours.
Some of you may know us through our other company, Queen Prints, where we’ve been honing our craft since 2018. We’re a local, family-run team, and we’re bringing that experience into the next chapter of SCI.
Our family team is Dusty, his brother Cole, their mom Kim, and Dusty’s fiancée Amber. We’re excited to share what the future holds here.
Our newest addition to the team is Amber. She’ll be managing the office, answering phones, and helping customers who want to stop by, see and feel garment options in person, or talk through what’s possible, whether that’s silk screening, embroidery, branding, or unique merch.
Robert is staying with us and absolutely crushing it in our embroidery department.
Another huge milestone for us: our automatic press is finally installed and fully operational. Most people may not realize how big that is for a print shop, but it allows us to produce more efficiently while keeping the quality consistent. We’ve also streamlined how work moves through the shop to improve communication and turnaround times without sacrificing quality.
Jess has worked side by side with us to hand this little beast of a shop over with care, and we’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge and relationships she has shared with us. Last Thursday was her final full day in the shop as she moves into a new chapter of her life. We’re parting on good terms, and our door remains open if she ever chooses to return.
We know the Sierra Custom Ink name has earned a lot of trust over the years, and we intend to keep earning it one job at a time.
