Been a little quiet over here this week as I’ve been putting my whole heart and soul into my vintage towel bag collection exclusively for 👛 Show starts this Sunday and runs through Tuesday. I’m so excited to return to Texas, visit with family and friends and enjoy the Round Top experience! I hope to see y’all there!

Uh kinda wanna keep this set ok?

Jen sent me this beautiful 1930s feedback quilt top to make her a custom set with a silhouette similar to some I did last summer. We lengthened the top and brought the hem line up on the pant and I think the result is so darling. I reinforced much of the hand-stitched quilt top and fully lined it throughout so it has some weight and structure to it. I didn’t get any photos of the sides, but I spend a lot of my time planning and cutting these quilts so that all the quirky parts line up nicely on the seams. This one lined up really well and did not disappoint! Elastic neckline allows for on or off shoulder wear. I design these tops with a buttonhole slit on the side hem at the waist to slide a removable lace belt through. Since the top is so voluminous, the belt allows it to be cinched in to various degrees in the back or all around the waist and I love how many ways you can change up the style with just that simple twist! Thanks for the challenge and opportunity Jen! I appreciate you❣️
