It operated as North Side Drug, a Snyder family business in Great Falls since 1933. In 1981 it closed its doors so the family could concentrate on their other business location, Snyder Drug located at 2515 6th Ave. The building is located diagonally across the C.M. Russell Museum, 400 13th St. The museum serves to educate on the art and life of Charles M. Russell and the art of his contemporaries. The museum maintains approximately 2,000 art pieces done by Russell and 12,000 total permanent items from artists including O.C. Seltzer, Winold Reiss and Gary Schildt. This museum is a highlight for in town and out of town visitors.
