From very young, I was influenced by fashion and sewing, whether I realized it at the time or not. My mother used to sew bridal attire professionally out of our home and was able to create the most gorgeous garments from scratch. My mother supported my love and want to attend one, so we set our sights for ACEN 2007. It was a convention that changed me forever. There were so many cosplayers and so
many awesome things. From kindergarten to freshman year of college at UWGB in 2009, I had wanted to be a teacher, but that 2007 ACEN experience kept nagging me from the back of my mind. A classmate of mine in Japanese class told me about Mount Mary college in Milwaukee because she had been planning on going there for fashion design. Interest immediately peaked, I set into motion of applying there.
2011 I was proud to say I was a new college student of Mount Mary Colllge (changed to Mount Mary University in 2012) for Fashion Design.
2012 saw the founding of Crimson Star Emporium as it's current self. I originally opened up K.Lou-Nockturne on etsy in 2009.
2014 placed me at three years at MMU and only needing 3 credits to graduate, thus a 3 week study abroad trip in Florence, Italy. August 2014 also put me at officially graduating from MMU (although the walk didn't occur until December). Fall semester of 2014 I had enrolled at NWTC for Entrepreneurship Certificate, which I completed and received in December of 2014.
2015 I began to do more Vendor Hall opportunities than Artist Alley at conventions. Thank you all for your continued support!
